Konnor Chelkowski from the Service Department at the Victoria Branch was awarded the Flynn Life Saver Award after he and his foreman, Jeff Thul, went above and beyond to save the life of a young woman in distress.
On November 23, 2022, while working on a service site they observed a young despondent woman sitting on the edge of the building. Jeff contacted 911 and waited for police, while Konner talked with the woman. Showing a little compassion and sharing a conversation helped the situation and the woman left the roof safely. Congratulations to the pair for their calm and quick response, you made a positive difference in her life.
