Waterproofing is a scope that Flynn has just recently begun to adopt but it has quickly spread to multiple branches.
The Ottawa branch recently completed a waterproofing scope for a condo development.
The scope includes 200,000 SF of blindside waterproofing for the four level below grade parking garage. Blindside waterproofing is when waterproofing is applied before the foundation and foundation wall are in place. This is usually the go to method in urban centers where it is not feasible to excavate around the foundation walls or maneuver heavy equipment. The parking garage took 1,500 man-hours to complete but that was no problem for our crew.
