There are four events the Flynn Family in Vancouver celebrate that bring all the shop, office, and field together. The annual safety meeting, a summer picnic, a kid’s Christmas celebration, and the Christmas lunch.
As a prelude to our Christmas Lunch, we challenged everyone to a friendly competition on who can donate the most food and toys to the local Food Bank. The response was, to say the least, overwhelming. 7 skids, 14 cartons filled, 4200 lbs., 2 Tons of food and toys – WOW. We had to make sure that the Food Bank had an empty truck to haul them all out of here.
Although a Team effort for sure; Katie Frees, our Branch Administrator, came up with the idea and she was well supported by Kasandra Binik and Lisa Morham. The three stars are front and centre in the photo. When we are together as group, we realize how strong we are and why we succeed!
