The construction for the new Star Building Products store and warehouse is currently underway in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Flynn is working alongside Winnipeg founded general contractor Concord Projects to complete 371 squares of Kingspan insulated metal panels and 19 squares of Accument panels. The nine-man crew led by foreman Phil Bonneteau worked long hours including weekends to meet the Christmas deadline set by the GC.

Star’s new facility which is being built on their 4.5-acre property will consist of a new shipping office which will be 1,800 square feet. The cold-storage facility will be approximately 8,000 sq. ft. and will be used to store building materials which needing protection from the elements. The Phase 3 building will be 54,000 sq. ft. in size and will include an 18,500 sq. ft. retail store, a 14,000 sq. ft. drive-through warehouse, a 9,000 sq. ft. receiving area and 2,500 sq. ft. of main-floor office space.

The crew has received rave reviews by the GC and the owner. Phil and the crew have exemplified the Flynn Way by demonstrating a strong line of communication with the GC and owner directly from the frontline, exceeding the GC’s safety standards, and providing the customer with a high quality finished product!
