Flynn Family continue to be recognized for their commitment to the highest safety standards. In June, the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) and the Inland Northwest Associated General Contractors presented Flynn BEC LP Spokane with awards for safety excellence.

This award recognizes Spokane’s high safety performance in 2018. It was an effective follow up to Spokane’s First Place finish in the 2017 Construction Safety Excellence Award (back then, the Spokane branch was known as Cobra BEC Inc.)

The AGC of America presents awards to its members who have an incident rate 25% below each division’s average and members who have a zero incident rate in the following divisions: Building, Highway, Heavy/Industrial, Municipal/Utilities and Associate/Specialty.

In order to qualify for the AGC’s award, Flynn Spokane successfully demonstrated management’s commitment to safety, active employee participation, safety training, work site hazard identification and control, and safety program innovation.
