In May 2016, Sarah Kasper, the Safety Director for US Operations, used her skills and training to help save the life of a 13 year-old boy in a baseball tournament in Westfield, Indianna.
In late 2016, Nate Wyman from the Kansas City branch found a gentleman passed out with no pulse, so he began CPR. When the EMTs arrived, they told Nate that if he had not started doing CPR that the gentleman would have died.
Both Sarah and Nate acted heroically, and have been awarded with the Flynn Life Saver Award. Great work you two, you are an inspiration.
