The Portland branch is proud to have a 27-month and counting recordable injury-free streak (as of August 2019). Portland has accomplished 129,350 man hours without a recordable injury.
This kind of performance doesn’t occur by accident. Both office and field staff worked together closely to create a safety culture where people do the right thing even when no one is watching.
Our approach is better than mere compliance. Indeed, we strive to be safety leaders. We believe that if something looks unsafe, it probably is.
In addition, our field leaders are always looking for opportunities to mentor fellow crew members to be safe and successful. The aim is to go home at the end of the day safe and in the same condition (or better) as we arrived.
