Courtland Potoski and Brad Ironside from the Winnipeg glazing team have been recognized with the Life Saver award for their heroic efforts in freeing two passengers trapped in a car wreck.
On the day of the accident Brad and Courtland were driving to get fresh coffee when they were flagged down by locals. Upon pulling over they noticed a car had flipped onto its back. They wasted no time in grabbing their tools and safety glasses. Brad gave the safety glasses to the trapped passengers and he and Courtland began to remove the windshield. The first passenger was then able to slide out, but the second was pinned at the bottom of the vehicle. Luckily the accident was close to a nearby nursing station and they were able to help our guys safely remove the second passenger.
