Good news, Flynn Family! We would like to congratulate Patrick Beasley on becoming Branch Manager for the Dallas-Fort Worth branch!
Patrick joined Flynn last year as a project manager. Originally working in real estate development and construction, he transitioned to commercial roofing a few years ago and never looked back.
Patrick was familiar with Flynn even before coming onboard. He had previously encountered Flynn’s team and discussed best practices with them. At the time, Patrick remembers being impressed with Flynn’s methodologies given the size and scope of work performed. “I knew that if an opportunity ever presented itself, that I wanted to be part of the Flynn team,” he says.
As it turned out, that’s exactly what happened. After considering his options, he decided that coming to Flynn was the right move for him and his family.
Patrick is eager to take on the opportunities and challenges that come with his new role. He expects the biggest change from his current position will be shifting from a day-to-day operations role to managing the big picture. Other responsibilities will include assisting the operations team where needed and helping the sales team build relationships with clients.
His top priority is to continue the DFW branch’s growth in both new and re-roofing markets. He is also looking to implement a new training program to assist younger foreman on their career paths. Growing the architectural metal division is another major focus. And in the near future, he and his team are looking to break into the waterproofing market.
Some of the challenges Patrick will face include competition for contracts and employees. He says his biggest challenge in his new role will be implementing a new and unique approach to overcoming obstacles. This new approach will set Flynn apart from the competition and help the branch exceed its goals. “I am extremely excited for the great things to come in the DFW branch,” Patrick says.
As always, the Flynn Family is happy to welcome new members. “In the short time I have been here, the DFW team has accepted me with open arms,” Patrick says.
Once again, congratulations to Patrick. We wish him and his team the best of luck going forward. Stay tuned for more great news from DFW.
