Flynn Ottawa rehabilitated a government archive building including a full re-roof using TREMCO products, installation of a large size green roof, and installation of a new stairwell.

The team encountered multiple site conditions such as a major blister issue caused by the air pressure escaping from the building through the roof slab. Those site conditions pushed the project into the harsh winter conditions and Flynn had to install special measures to protect the building. A heating set-up with constant monitoring of the building’s temp was maintained through the winter.

Foreman Rob Chartrand did an amazing job managing the installation of the roof, the site in general and the client representative on site. A masterclass from one of our top foremen. Thanks as well to: Stephane Béland (Right hand man), Jean-Paul Lussier (Superintendent), Jean-Frédérick Lamirande (PM), Michael Quesnel (Director), Ivan Matrev (Estimator), Carley Zimba (Coordinator), and Blair Coreau (Safety).

Thanks to everyone’s hard work the whole operation was successful and we received many thanks from the client.
