Flynn Phoenix completed a hot asphalt re-roof project for Desert Willow Elementary School in Cave Creek, Arizona. The scope involved a mechanically attached 3.5 inch ISO, taper and crickets; half inch fiberboard, fully adhered hot asphalt SBS base sheet and a fully adhered hot asphalt Garland Stress Ply-E cap sheet.

The crew applied two coats of acrylic white coating and installed a new coping cap on each building. Some of the challenges included extreme heat, limited access, multiple buildings, and work in a residential area. The project was successfully completed in August 2019. Happy studying!
