Don Flynn Safety Award

Named after our company founder, the Don Flynn Safety Awards are our version of the Stanley Cup! Each year, two branches with the top health and safety performances have a celebration in recognition of their hard work and dedication to our thriving safety culture.This highly sought-after trophy is displayed in their offices until new winners are announced the following year.

At Flynn safety will always be our top priority, not only in the field and office but in our manufacturing facilities too. That’s why we celebrate safety excellence with our Manufacturing Safety Award. This award is available to any one of our manufacturing facilities across Flynn further emphasizing the important role safety plays in our culture and our lives.

Life Saver Award

Our Lifesaver Award is given to Flynn employees who have used their safety training to help save a life. in 2016, Nate Wyman (shown in photo) from our Kansas City branch found a man unconscious with no pulse and began performing CPR. EMT’s who arrived on site said his actions saved the gentleman’s life.
